Sheila lyona maloba joined Hatua Trust in October, 2018 as a Program officer. Her scope of work involves working with religious leaders, women, youth and persons living with disability (PLWD) in western and Nyanza regions with closer interaction at county levels. On a national outlook, the organization’s activities cut across the entire republic.
At implementation level, our main goal is to strengthen the people’s democratic voices and demand accountability for prudent public resources management and delivery of social contracts.
Before joining Hatua trust, she was a lecturer of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Agricultural economics at Kisii University, where she supported long term strategies and innovative approaches to ensuring diverse leadership at our local universities.
Lyona is pursuing a Master of Science degree in Agricultural Economics, kisii University.
