CITIZEN ACTIVATE
Hatua trust develops and delivers programs that enable its constituents to ensure that they engage with the relevant civic bodies and carry out social accountability processes with their leaders. This will include public participation processes, public hearings, participatory planning and budgeting amongst others.
WOMEN POWER
Hatua Trust runs programs around women empowerment and how they can increase their participation in governance and civic processes. Hatua also seeks to empower the women groups and networks around gender issues that create barriers towards their effective participation in civic engagement and political processes.
YOUTH HOPE
Hatua trust focuses on developing youth programs around civic engagement that will enable them to participate actively in their communities. This also includes enabling the youth to gain access to officials or resources set aside for their use by government as well as taking advantage of resources in their communities that can empower them to take charge of their lives.
